OutletIQ/SPOTIO alternatives

Roundup

SPOTIO alternatives for field sales teams

Eight tools that come up when a field sales team looks past SPOTIO, grouped by how your reps sell: territory and route teams, door-to-door teams, and teams that take orders in shops and outlets. Every claim is sourced from the vendor's own site, checked 5 October 2026.

The right SPOTIO alternative depends on what your reps do at each stop.

  • Territory and route teams on a CRM: Badger Maps or Map My Customers, or Salesforce Maps if you already run Salesforce.
  • Door-to-door and canvassing teams: SalesRabbit.
  • Consumer goods brands checking shelves in stores: Repsly.
  • Wholesalers taking orders against an ERP or through a buyer portal: Skynamo or Pepperi.
  • Drinks and FMCG distributors that need verified outlet visits, store audits and orders: OutletIQ.

This is not a ranked list and nobody paid to be on it. OutletIQ is our product and it suits only the last of those five teams, so read its entry with that in mind. Every competitor claim links to that vendor's own page, checked 5 October 2026.

At a glance

How do the SPOTIO alternatives compare?

Four of the eight tools here publish per-seat prices, and four describe taking product orders on their own sites. They are not the same four. Where a vendor does not describe something on its public pages, the table says so rather than guessing.

Start with SPOTIO

What is SPOTIO, and when should you keep it?

SPOTIO calls itself an AI-powered field sales execution platform. Its plans page sells a B2B plan for territory teams in sectors like telecom, industrial and financial services, and a B2C plan for solar, home improvement and roofing teams selling door to door. If your reps prospect, knock and follow up on leads, SPOTIO is built for that work.

Per its plans page, checked 5 October 2026, SPOTIO prices per user and publishes no figures. It says it is designed for teams of 5 or more field sales professionals, offers pilots to qualified prospects instead of a free trial, and has most customers live in less than four weeks. A dedicated customer success manager comes with 25 licences or more.

Where SPOTIO is stronger than OutletIQ

  • Territory design. Boundaries by zip code, county or custom map, with hierarchies and permissions, per its homepage. OutletIQ works from your outlet list instead.
  • Leads and prospecting. Leads filtered and tagged by neighbourhood, response level and deal stage, and Google Places data on the B2B plan. OutletIQ has no lead management.
  • Route optimisation. SPOTIO plans the most efficient path through a territory. OutletIQ routes are ordered outlet lists that a manager assigns for the week, with no optimiser.
  • CRM sync. Its distribution page names Salesforce, HubSpot, Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics. OutletIQ exports CSV.
  • An AI assistant. SPOTIO's DASH preps visits, captures data by voice and photo, and drafts follow-ups. OutletIQ has no AI assistant.

SPOTIO also lists distribution among its B2B industries, with visits logged in one tap and verified by GPS coordinates and timestamps. What the pages checked do not describe is taking a product order or running a store audit, and that is where distributor tools differ. If neither matters to your team, stay on SPOTIO or look at the territory tools below.

The alternatives

Which SPOTIO alternative fits your team?

Pick the tab that matches how your reps sell. Three tools suit territory and route teams, one suits door-to-door teams, and four suit teams that sell into shops and outlets. Listed in no order of merit.

Territory and route teams

Three tools for teams that plan territories and routes and log activity against a CRM. All three publish per-seat prices.

Badger Maps

Badger Maps calls itself a route planner for outside sales and field teams on its homepage, combining route planning, sales mapping, CRM integration and AI automation in one mobile-first platform.

Best for
Outside sales reps who plan their own days and want a map and route planner on top of the CRM they already use.
Strengths
Route optimisation up to 120 stops and native Android and iOS apps on every plan. Two-way CRM sync from the Business plan, with Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho and NetSuite among the integrations listed. A 14-day free plan, and a 90-day money-back guarantee for teams of 2 or more licences.
Limits
No product ordering or store audit module is described. Its pricing page says data for proposals and purchase orders is sent back to your CRM, so order handling stays in your other systems.
Pricing
Published. Business is $58 and Enterprise $95 per user per month billed annually, or $69 and $109 billed monthly. Enterprise Plus is quoted. Per its pricing page, checked October 2026.

Map My Customers

Map My Customers still trades under that name, at mapmycustomers.com. It calls itself a field sales execution platform that sits beside your CRM, covering territory planning, rep execution and manager visibility.

Best for
B2B field teams in industrial distribution, building materials, machinery and medical devices that want territory mapping, routing and two-way CRM sync.
Strengths
Two-way CRM sync, territory and demographic data, route planning and activity capture on every plan. Enterprise adds an AI Field Agent for admin, a mileage tracker and Field View, which plays back a rep's day. It lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and HIPAA support.
Limits
The highest published per-seat prices on this page, paid annually. No order capture or store audit module is described; its top plan lists revenue and order intelligence reporting instead.
Pricing
Published. Industry Leader $99, Enterprise $139 and Field Intelligence $199 per user per month, paid annually, per its pricing page, checked October 2026.

Salesforce Maps

Salesforce Maps is Salesforce's own mapping software for sales teams, described on its product page as CRM-based sales mapping. You start from a Sales Cloud edition; Salesforce says some editions already include Maps.

Best for
Teams that already run Salesforce Sales Cloud and want maps, schedules and routes inside it.
Strengths
Salesforce records on interactive maps alongside third-party business, property and demographic data. Automated routes and schedules, location-based lead assignment, mobile access with field notes, and step-by-step visit checklists. The Advanced edition adds advanced route optimisation and geo-analytics.
Limits
Only worth it if your CRM is Salesforce. Ordering and store audits are not described on the Maps pages checked.
Pricing
Published. $75 per user per month for Salesforce Maps and $125 for Salesforce Maps: Advanced, billed annually, added to a Sales Cloud edition that does not already include it. Per its pricing page, checked October 2026.

Door-to-door teams

If your team is on SPOTIO's B2C plan today, this is the closest like-for-like switch on the page. OutletIQ is not built for door-to-door selling.

SalesRabbit

SalesRabbit sells a door-to-door sales app and calls itself an all-in-one platform for field sales management on its homepage. Its industry list runs from roofing and solar to pest control, home security, HVAC and political campaigns.

Best for
Door-to-door and canvassing teams working homeowner leads, appointments and same-day closes.
Strengths
Canvassing tools, route planning and rep location tracking on the Team plan. Custom fields, map overlays, a scheduler for setters and closers, and API integrations on Pro. Paid add-ons for homeowner buyer scores, mover leads, digital contracts and weather data. A free version of the app for anyone without a team, and RoofLink, a separate roofing CRM.
Limits
Built around residential leads. No product ordering or store audit features are described, so it is not a fit for selling into shops or bars. Its pricing FAQ says contracts run from one to three years.
Pricing
Published. Team is $59 per user per month billed monthly. Pro is $75 billed monthly or $49 billed annually. Enterprise is quoted. Per its pricing page, checked October 2026.

Shops and outlets

These four describe taking product orders on their own sites. They differ in who the customer is: a brand checking shelves, a wholesaler tied to an ERP, a platform with a buyer portal, or a distributor proving outlet visits.

Repsly

Repsly calls itself a retail execution platform on its homepage and says leading CPG and retail service companies count on it. Our field by field write-up is OutletIQ vs Repsly, and the wider field is in Repsly alternatives.

Best for
Consumer goods brands, and the retail service companies that work for them, sending reps and merchandisers into stores.
Strengths
Scheduling, forms, photos and workday tracking on Core. A product catalogue and ordering from the Grow plan. ShelfScan image recognition as an add-on on Scale and Flex, and a Flex workspace built for retail service providers.
Limits
Built for brands checking shelves more than for distributors running their own trade. Every contract needs a 12-month minimum commitment with annual payment upfront.
Pricing
Not published. Core, Grow, Scale and Flex plans are listed without figures on its pricing page, checked October 2026.

Skynamo

Skynamo describes itself on its pricing page as a unified sales operations platform for B2B manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and importers, joining field sales, inside sales, customer self-service, retail execution and ordering. See also OutletIQ vs Skynamo.

Best for
Wholesalers and distributors whose reps take orders against an ERP they are keeping.
Strengths
Works with on-premises and legacy ERPs with no forced upgrades. Customer-specific prices and deals, bulk orders, offline mobile capability, and a Radar add-on for customer risk and opportunity signals. Month-to-month, annual and ERP-integrated rollout options.
Limits
Built around ordering and the ERP. The pages checked do not describe GPS visit verification or prospecting tools.
Pricing
Not published. Skynamo says pricing is based on the number of users, products selected, ERP integration requirements and the scale and complexity of your operation.

Pepperi

Pepperi describes itself on its homepage as a unified B2B commerce solution for brands and distributors, and says it is now an Advantive company. We go deeper in OutletIQ vs Pepperi and Pepperi alternatives.

Best for
Brands and distributors that want a B2B ecommerce portal, rep order taking and direct store delivery on one platform.
Strengths
B2B ecommerce, mobile order taking and route accounting for direct store delivery. Retail execution with custom audit forms, geo-tagged photos and planograms, on native iOS and Android apps that work offline, per its retail execution page.
Limits
The broadest tool here, so there is more to configure. Not built for territory prospecting or door-to-door work.
Pricing
Not published. Its pricing FAQ says plans are annual or month to month, checked October 2026.

OutletIQ

OutletIQ field sales software is our product: field sales execution for drinks and FMCG distributors, from the rep's phone to the manager's desk. The full section is below.

Best for
Distributors whose reps visit bars, shops and off-licences to audit them and take orders.
Strengths
Verified outlet visits with a manager review queue, store audits, order capture, weekly routes, purchase orders with a three-step approval chain, time and expense, and CSV export. An offline-first rep app on iOS and Android, with a web console for managers.
Limits
No lead management, no route optimiser, no door-to-door tools and no CRM sync.
Pricing
Not published. Quote only: a monthly subscription quoted per deployment. See how OutletIQ pricing works.

Our product

Is OutletIQ a good SPOTIO alternative?

Only for one kind of team. OutletIQ field sales software is built for drinks and FMCG distributors whose reps visit outlets, audit them and take orders. If your reps knock doors or prospect new territory, SPOTIO or one of the tools above will serve you better.

“I built OutletIQ around one moment: a distributor's rep standing in an outlet, proving the visit, filling in the audit and taking the order. Everything in the product hangs off that visit, which is why it has no lead lists, no door-knocking tools and no sales pipeline.”

Fionn Murphy, founder of OutletIQ. About Fionn

What it does

  • Visits a manager can check. Each outlet has a geofence, 100 m by default, and a minimum time on site, 10 minutes by default, both adjustable per outlet. The app also checks for mock GPS and counts location fixes, and any visit that fails a check goes to a review queue with the reason.
  • Store audits. Configurable audit forms with photos, attached to the visit.
  • Order capture. Reps enter cases and the cost per case, the app calculates the totals, and managers see every order, with CSV export.
  • Routes and approvals. Weekly routes per rep, time and expense, and purchase orders that pass a three-step approval chain before a PDF is produced.
  • Phones reps already carry. An offline-first rep app on iOS and Android, and a web console for managers.

What it does not do

No lead management or prospecting data, no drive-time route optimiser, no door-to-door tools such as e-contracts, and no CRM sync: data leaves as CSV. If your team needs those, the tools above are the better choice. For the wider category, read our guide to field sales software, and for how a quote is put together, see OutletIQ pricing.

Choosing

How do you choose a SPOTIO alternative?

Run five checks in order: what happens at each stop, minimums and contract terms, the full-year cost for your whole team, a pilot in your worst coverage area, and where the data has to end up.

1. Decide what happens at each stop

If the stop ends in a signature or a booked appointment, you want a prospecting tool: SPOTIO, SalesRabbit, Badger Maps or Map My Customers. If it ends in a product order or a shelf check, you need order capture and audits, which only four of the eight tools here describe: Repsly, Skynamo, Pepperi and OutletIQ.

2. Check minimums and contract terms

SPOTIO says it is designed for teams of 5 or more field sales professionals. Repsly contracts need a 12-month minimum commitment paid upfront. SalesRabbit offers contracts of one to three years. Badger Maps, Skynamo and Pepperi all offer month-to-month options. Ask every vendor for the term in writing before the demo ends.

3. Price a full year for the whole team

Per-seat prices hide the total. At published annual list prices, ten reps for a year come to $5,880 on SalesRabbit Pro, $6,960 on Badger Maps Business, $9,000 on Salesforce Maps before any Sales Cloud licences, and $11,880 on Map My Customers Industry Leader. None of those figures includes add-ons, set-up or implementation, which SPOTIO says varies with your requirements, integrations and training.

4. Pilot it where the signal drops

SPOTIO offers pilots to qualified prospects rather than a free trial, says most customers are live in less than four weeks, and lists a “Download My Day” offline mode on its mobile page. Badger Maps has a 14-day free plan and a 90-day money-back guarantee for teams of 2 or more licences. Whatever you trial, spend one full day in your worst coverage area and check that every visit and order arrives intact.

5. Know where the data has to land

SPOTIO names four CRM and ERP systems it integrates with on its distribution page. Salesforce Maps lives inside Salesforce. Badger Maps and Map My Customers both sync two ways with your CRM. OutletIQ exports CSV, so if a live CRM sync is a must, it should not be on your shortlist.

Questions

SPOTIO alternatives, asked and answered.

What are the best SPOTIO alternatives?

It depends on how your team sells. Badger Maps and Map My Customers suit territory and route teams that want mapping on top of a CRM, and Salesforce Maps suits teams already on Salesforce. SalesRabbit suits door-to-door teams. Repsly suits consumer goods brands, Skynamo and Pepperi suit wholesalers and distributors taking orders, and OutletIQ suits drinks and FMCG distributors that need verified outlet visits, store audits and orders.

How much does SPOTIO cost?

SPOTIO does not publish figures. Its plans page, checked on 5 October 2026, says pricing is user based across B2B, B2C and Custom plans, that it is designed for teams of 5 or more field sales professionals, and that it offers pilots for qualified prospects instead of a free trial. Implementation costs vary with requirements, integrations and training, and are set out during the sales consultation.

Which SPOTIO alternatives publish their prices?

Four do, as checked on 5 October 2026. Badger Maps lists $58 and $95 per user per month billed annually, Map My Customers $99, $139 and $199 per user per month paid annually, Salesforce Maps $75 and $125 per user per month billed annually, and SalesRabbit $59 per user per month for its Team plan billed monthly. Repsly, Skynamo, Pepperi and OutletIQ quote.

Is there a SPOTIO alternative for door-to-door sales?

SalesRabbit is the closest like-for-like option on this list. Its site is built around door-to-door canvassing for roofing, solar, pest control, home security and similar trades, with Team and Pro plans priced per user. OutletIQ is not built for door-to-door selling.

Which SPOTIO alternatives handle orders and store audits?

On their own sites, Repsly, Skynamo and Pepperi describe order taking alongside retail execution, and OutletIQ covers outlet visits, store audits, orders and purchase orders. Badger Maps, Map My Customers, Salesforce Maps and SalesRabbit focus on routes, territories, leads and activity, and the SPOTIO pages checked do not describe product order taking.

Is OutletIQ a good SPOTIO alternative?

Only for drinks and FMCG distributors whose reps visit outlets, run store audits and take orders. OutletIQ has no lead management, no route optimiser, no door-to-door tools and no CRM sync, so territory sales and canvassing teams will be better served by SPOTIO or the other tools on this page.

How were these tools chosen and checked?

Five of them, Salesforce Maps, Badger Maps, Map My Customers, SalesRabbit and Repsly, are named on SPOTIO's own comparison hub. Skynamo, Pepperi and OutletIQ were added for teams that sell into shops and outlets. Every claim comes from the vendor's own website, checked on 5 October 2026 and linked on this page. No ratings or reviews are used.
